Happy New Year All! How did you do on your reading challenges for 2019? I luckily made my goal of 30 and had a total of 35 books read! Are you doing a reading challenge for 2020? I was thinking about doing the Pop Sugar reading challenge again, but decided just to set a goal to read 40 books this year. Share below what your reading challenge for this year is!

Also, I really dropped the ball and didn't even realize I forgot this post for November until I went to do Decembers. Haha. So this month is a two for one with what I read in November and December.

So, In November and December I read...

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce- This was November's LCBC book of the month. I wasn't the biggest fan of this book. I think I just didn't really connect with the story, but it was well written and had a sweet story that was enjoyable. I can say the most of the members of the LCBC really loved this book though!

P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han- I listened to this book on audio. I enjoyed the first book in the series better than this one, but this is still a nice light and easy YA romance read, and sometimes (especially for me) that's just what your brain needs to read.

Princess in Training, Party Princess, Princess on the Brink, and Princess Mia by Meg Cabot- I listened to these on audio. I'm still eating up this series. While listening to the first book in this group I was hard pressed not to be super annoyed by Mia, but throughout the next two (especially in the last of this group) she really starts to mature and gain some character development, which is awesome!

Disney After Dark by Ridley Pearson- I love all things Disney, so when I saw this on the elementary Battle of the Books list I had to try it out. It was a fun and well written adventure story for younger audiences. I'm not sure I'm going to read the rest of the series, but I'm glad I read this one for sure.
