Magnus held her tightly. "It's okay, Tyler. If you need them not to go to Alicante then tell them."

Kai nodded and turned and started whispering to Jackson, "nico and I are thinking of showing our wings.." She spoke softly. Alec watched them, looking slightly surprised.

"They won't listen. I already told them." She whispered, her voice breaking.


"Out here? In the middle of New York?!" He whispered back, confused and startled.

"Tell them again. The guys will listen to you. Kaira you may have to tie down." He told Tyler softly, still holing her.

Kai nodded. "Not out here, but inside the Institute." She replied.

"They won't. That's why they're here, because they won't listen." Tyler tugged away, a bit angrily.



"But what about Tyler?!"

"Well you disappeared. They probably thought you would come here." Magnus replied, letting go of her.

"We just saw Tyler. She disappeared. She must have some sort of charm or something." Kai sighed softly. "What do you think we should do?" She asked him.

"But before I disappeared. I told them to stay behind. I need to get to Alicante now." Her tears were gone, replaced by a strong determination.



"We need to find here before she does something stu- Well, more stupid than what she's already done!"

"They are stubborn. You said they can't go to Alicante, but you're completely willing to go." Magnus replied.

"I know." Kai turned to Alec. "Do you know where she went?"

"They can't because I'm going to die!" She shouts, then winces.


Jackson narrows his eyes at Alec.

"No. Then I'm not letting you go to Alicante." Magnus told her, his voice firm.

"I don't know. I've never seen that happen before." Alec replied. Kai dropped Nico's and Jackson's hands. She curled her hands into fists. "Great. So we have no clue where she is." Kai muttered.

"No! I will go, and I won't have you stopping me. I don't know if I'll die when I'm there alone, but if they come, I certainly will." She shouted angrily.



Jackson closed his eyes and sighed in defeat.

"Tyler. Explain. Why will you die if they are there?"Magnus was trying to be gentle but was getting frustrated.

"We do. Earlier today she just showed up at my apartment. So she may be back there again." Alec told them.

"I don't know! Have you ever had a vision, Magnus, have all the answers just magically appeared to you?!" She stormed to the other side of the room angrily.


"And where's that??"

"How is this the answer? You dying, that will destroy them. All three of them." Magnus told her, following her into the other room.

"Not far. I can take you." Alec replied.

"Aren't you even listening?!" She shouted, glaring at Magnus.


"Let's go, then." He said quickly.

"If you die, Jackson and Nico will be destroyed." Magnus replied, keeping his voice calm.

Alec nodded and started quickly walking away from the institute. Nico let go of Kai's hand and followed him.

"If they aren't there, I won't be dead!" She shouts.


Jackson follows silently and sullenly.

"Then if they show up here, I will keep them away from you. I will keep them from getting to Alicante." Magnus told her.


Alec led Nico and Jackson down the street, moving quickly toward his apartment. Kai had pulled away from Jackson and turned to go inside the institute. She felt extremely guilty, knowing that none of this would've happened if she would think more about others first.
