bridget is a fairly uncomplicated person. she prefers a super close-knit group of a few friends rather than a large group of people she doesn't know. she enjoys quiet conversations, and will listen to someone talking for hours. although she can appear standoffish, she's just shy and doesn't go out of her way to talk to people. she tends to float off into her own world, but usually won't cause large disruptions. she's not super courageous, but pretty smart and talented in crafts. she has a pretty wacky sense of humor, and will laugh at most things.
History:
bridget grew up in a beautiful house that was situated in the middle of a glen, near some waterfalls. she had a happy childhood, filled with dancing and crafts. she received her ability the night before her 14th birthday. bridget grew to love her ability because she enjoys zapping the air and making some people's hair frizzy. she has incredibly control over her ability because she's always striven to be the best version of herself as possible. her parents have pushed her hard in life, but she didn't really mind. recently, she's been looking for a companion(someone to date) because she wants someone to confide in and spend time with.

Personality || haylee is someone who tries to live in the moment. typically, she's laughing, smiling, or crying. she's very emotional, and can end up making lots of friends and enemies just by the way she acts. she tries to make everyone feel welcome, but not everyone welcomes her. she can be loud and annoying, and telling her off will shut her up(although she might be quiet and/or withdrawn for the rest of the day, depending on how she reacts), but can result in some slight judging. that judging can also depend on how you tell her off. she does not like it when people yell, especially at her friends. she trusts easily, but once that trust is gone, there is almost no hope of getting it back. but, her friends could describe her as vivid, with her living her life as bright as possible.
History || haylee grew up in a gorgeous manor, and wore stunning dresses throughout her childhood. now, however, she hates dressy clothes and acting fake and quiet. she grew up groomed to be a perfect little elf, with all the proper attire and impeccable manners. she still retains an air of her manners, shown in her perfect posture and clothing choices, but she has all but ditched the path her parents carved for her. she enjoys experimenting with emotional cooking, where whenever she feels that her emotions are going to get control of her, she'll whip something up. to this day, she gets attached very quickly to people and trusts easily.

~Haelynn is a sarcastic bookworm who just wants to be left alone. Unfortunately, she often finds herself being dragged along one place or another due to her extensive knowledge. She has only a few close friends. She excels in all of her classes, including physical education. She doesn't particularly like anybody with prestige or power and tends to stay away from people with those qualities. Haelynn didn't have a childhood worth noting, though people have speculated about relations to the Vackers due to her striking dark teal eyes. She has studied the Forbidden Cities, especially ancient Rome and Greece.

She clouds over her sadness with jokes so there are lots of sad memories buried deep in her mind, so many that her mind could fracture if they were, so before her father resigned from the nobility he had a washer erase all of the sad memories that could make her become as secluded as her parents, he just wanted the best for her. Her Father resigned from the nobility and the Abbott family became just as secluded as the Ruewens after Jolie’s death. Not able to remember the sad memories ( Lia’s planting, the day she was declared dead e.g ) Gwen still went to school and was the only Abbott to not be trapped under the jail-like-walls of their house.

~History : She showed up at that tower where Forkle 2 revealed himself when she was just a toddler. No memories have ever been recovered. She manifested while in a fight for her life with a rogue gorgonops (not gorgodon, this is the common one). She has a pet lovebird called Butterfly. As lovebirds live in caves, Butterfly lives in her shirt. She will bite hands unless she gets to know the person behind them. Inwardly, she takes great pleasure in mesmerizing people, although she keeps a good poker face, to the point where few can tell the difference between her mesmerizing and her just being normal. She is normally not very trusting, but those who win her trust will find her loyal, willing to help out, and never use her powers on her friends.
~History (4+ sentences) Moria grew who grew up in a family that had high expectations for her. Her family had been on the run since she could remember, framed for treason. Since she was young, she had to learn self-defense, and when they had settled down for a moment, they went over the Foxfire curriculum so that she could someday go and at some point change the reputation of the Animatos. She manifested rather early, and her training continued in its rigor as her parents tried to prepare her, her mother being a telepath and her father a beguiler. When she was finally ready, her parents brought her to Foxfire, alone. They realized quickly she was from the Animato family, but she played her part well and denied any knowing of her parents. They probed her and her blocking fell. Luckily, they did not get enough information from her to find her parents, and she was placed in a temporary dormitory near Foxfire. Because they could not find any memory that she did anything illegal, apart from some minor cases of resisting arrest, she managed to still get a spot at Foxfire, but under heavy surveillance on campus.

He has a strange aura of handsomeness around him, a bit like Keefe, but not in your typical Elvin fashion (Duh).
Dress Style: He generally wears baggy pants and shirts, the latter often with "inspiring" phrases. (Think "I went to Foxfire to get a good education, but all I got was this ugly shirt.") Often these get confiscated by his parents or the academy.

Personality: Dodger, as clear by his appearance, is rebellious in nature. He does not like sticking to strict limitations, and tries to find ways to weasel his way out of them, with mixed success. And yet, Dodger has a level of maturity to him, knowing when he should just stick to the limitations, but not succumb to them. Behind even this part of his personality, he is rather wise beyond his years, and people often turn to him for advice.
Backstory: Dodger's original name was going to be something much more aristocratic-sounding, but a mix up in the registry files earned him his current name. As the oldest in the Volt family, had a very rigorous life. His parents had high expectations for him, caused by the fact that the Volts were known for raising some of the strongest Chargers in the Elvin world, the last one being his great-grandmother (who died in an accident when Dodger was only 4). After that, his parents prepared him for when he would become a charger, and his training grew even more vigorous when he manifested. In his family, his only consolation was his grandfather, a technopath and charger, who was the only one not afraid of upsetting his parents, and also had a rebellious nature to him, including interest in humans. Dodger learned most from his grandfather when it came to living in the Elvin world.

Personality: Trinity is a very social girl. She loves hanging out with others, and hates being alone. She accepts the wrongs of the world, but she is optimistic that it can be a good place. Frankly, she is optimistic in general, which can lead to her not properly assessing a situation. Her training was not nearly as rigorous as her brother's, but she is still prepared for training as a charger, even though she agrees with her brother that it is incredibly over the top. She also is generally quite impatient with things that are not living, but incredibly patient with animals and people. When she manifests, however, she will be more reserved as the more traditional members of her family look down on her for her ability not having anything to do with electricity, and she will think of herself as a disappointment. At the same time, she will accept her power as a part of her, and try to earn back approval.

If she lived in the human world she would definitely be a ballerina.
Dress style: Her Foxfire uniform is always wrinkled and her shirt is never tucked in–but she somehow makes it look stylish. On the weekends she's either wearing loose tunics and leggings or literally the fanciest, tightest dress she could find. She normally wears calmer colors like Lavender, Powder Blue, and Pale Pink.

Personality: Asha is energetic and carefree, and she loves to hang out with her friends. She doesn’t like being the center of attention, but she often finds herself in that position because of her endless pranks. She isn’t the top of her class or anything, but she’s pretty good at most of her classes, and she excels in ability training. She does tend to overthink things, and sometimes that can lead her to do crazy reckless things that she thinks are necessary even though they aren’t. History: Asha lives with her brother, Percy, and her parents. Her parents are both nice, but in a very distant way. She isn’t the top of her class or anything, but she’s pretty good at most of her classes, and she excels in ability training. She does tend to overthink things, and sometimes that can lead her to do crazy reckless things that she thinks are necessary even though they aren’t. She naturally doesn’t like to fight people, but she will hold a grudge for a very long time, and eventually will get her revenge.

Personality: Leo is a cool, reserved teacher who has high expectations for his students, but they are not unreasonable. As a single father of three (triplets), now all grown up, he knows how to handle students with enough harshness to get them to do their job, but rarely stepping over the line and causing too much mental stress on others (keyword: too much). Despite his hardcore attitude towards his students, outside of a classroom setting, he is actually a lot warmer than you would otherwise think he was.
History: An alumnus from Foxfire, and graduate from a prestigious music academy, Leo had a very rigorous life. His musical talent had been discovered at the age of 5, and his special abilities five years later. Because of this, he had to enroll in two different schools in order to do everything he wanted to. He started teaching at Foxfire and privately since before he had kids, and was always hardcore, but shortly after the triplets were born, his wife died in a freak accident. Juggling between teaching, performing, and being a dad, Leo's expectations for himself only rose, and so did his expectations for his children and students. Once the triplets were old enough to enroll in Foxfire, his life sort-of became easier, but was often accused of helping them too much, despite the fact that two of them had completely different abilities. This was not true, as he tries to remain fair to all students, but it nearly got him sacked at one point because a parent complained about an failing grade in a student's homework while his children passed. He kept his position, but it was not until his children graduated where all accuses of treachery stopped.

Dress style: He's a guy who could easily get lost in a crowed, at least on first glance. However, if you look closer, you will realize that he whenever he was recently working in a lab, he always has tight-fitting clothing with nothing dangling. Sometimes, he will also forget to take off his lab coat, which has lead to many...interesting situations.
Personality: Cameron is a rambunctious young lad in his own way. He loves experimenting and despite his track record of getting into trouble, he was top of his class at many subjects, most notably elementalism. He is impulsive, but (almost) never out of anger. However, he did not easily forgive, and given that most people know this, that is how he got into trouble.
Backstory: Since Cameron was very small, he was always interested in chemistry. When he was 7, he used an abandoned room in his house as a laboratory, and inside fiddled around with most everything he could get his hands on. When he was allowed in Foxfire, his interests and ideas only grew, and would often be found inside his laboratory late into the night. He was an accomplished student at Foxfire, but had a lasting grudge against a certain professor, which lead to him getting many detentions with him. One time, detention was served at the professor's house ("manual labor builds character"), the teacher had to unexpectedly leave, leaving Cameron to work alone. He accidentally knocked over a bottle of oil onto a malfunctioning electrical appliance. The oil caught fire and spread quickly, having caught onto a very flammable curtain and rug. Cameron tried to put it out with water, and then with the bottling fire technique but failed because there was just too much fire, and even the experimental lab accidents he had gotten himself into were nothing compared to this. Cameron was found by his teacher running away from the burning house. Despite his and his parents attempts to explain that it had been an accident, Cameron was expelled from Foxfire, believed by the teacher to have not extinguished the fire out of spite. Forced to go to Exillium, Cameron faced scorn from most of his family, even though there was a good amount of talentless involved in the mix. Despite everything, his parents remained supportive of him as best they could, and it was easier for Cameron to accept his new life.

She has very long silver hair that takes a lot of her time to brush. She has the front strands of her hair in a braid most of the time. Her eyes are a lighter cyan/turquoise. Nova has freckles and technically needs glasses. She can see ok without them but her vision isn’t super good. She often just fully ditches the glasses.

~ History - A bit of info first, when she was 8 she had two older sisters (one 11 one 13) and a twin brother. Her mom was a pyrokinetic and her parents didn’t seem to care about the multiple birth situation one bit. Her parents were in fact on the match list because her mom was thought to be talentless and her dad was talentless.
At the time, Novalie was really close to her twin brother and they did almost everything together once they were awake and dressed in their somewhat matching clothes.
A couple days before Nova’s ninth birthday her eldest sister manifested as a pyrokinetic. It was the middle of the day and Nova was outside running around in the huge open surrounding field with her twin. Her twin had stolen their mothers pathfinder and she was chasing him around trying to get it.
A cold wind swept in through the open window and that was enough to manifest the ability in her sister. They didn’t actually have fireproof walls or anything despite the mother also being a pyrokinetic because she was skilled at controlling the ability and people would get suspicious if they bought anything or designed the building like that.
The bottom floor of the tower melted and the whole thing collapsed, killing everyone in it.
As for Novalie and her twin, they were outside when it happened. She had just caught up with him. Nova reacted quickly and held the pathfinder up to the light like she had seen her parents do so many times and stepped in, bringing her brother with her.
She focused as hard as she could, trying to keep herself together. Finally, she glittered into existence outside the entrance of Atlantis but her brother was no where to be seen. There was no way he survived… he either got crushed by falling debris, burnt by the spreading fire/poisoned by the smoke, or he faded away in the light leaping process…
Eventually after about a day of people passing her and not seeming to care someone eventually found her and recognized her, immediately figuring something out with the council.
Soon, Novalie was living with her grandparents on her mom’s side. Unlike Nova’s actual parents her grandparents were strictly against all of the stereotypical things. Talentless, multiple births, bad matches, and even pyrokinetics. They had only had one child and had been extremely disappointed in her (said child is clearly novas mom sorry if that was unclear-).
They tried to erase any traces of Nova’s twin but they couldn’t do anything about her memories (they tried but almost everything reminded her of it and sent the memories flying back) or elvin records.
Nowadays Nova spends most of her time with the gnomes or alone out in the forest. She likes to paint and draw scenery. She has told the gnomes all about what her old family was like but always avoids the story about the end of their lives.
Every year on Nova’s birthday she goes to her family’s wanderlings. She talks to the trees for hours as if they were still alive.

personality | leslie is a very bold kid. they are very outgoing and personable in social situations, but unfortunately, that extraversion extends to risky activities, a quality which has often gotten them in trouble. leslie rarely thinks before acting and often gets injured in the process, getting them sent to the healing center quite often.
all hot-headedness aside, though, leslie is actually a kind soul. they care very deeply and passionately for those that they are close with. they don't have a lot of patience for sappy, over-emotional situations, which often pisses their friends off, but, as good friends do, they forgive leslie and continue on as before.
history | leslie was born an only child to two parents who were very wrapped up in their work. as a result of this, they were unsupervised for a majority of their childhood, a situation that led to their "i can do it all" mentality. they had nobody to tell them no, so they don't know how to tell themself no.
leslie, being an only child, never had playmates around, so they did all sorts of things to entertain themself, which caused them to accumulate an abundance of random hobbies and skills.
when they first started attending school, there was no doubt that they would make friends quickly, and that is just what they did. they rapidly attracted many friends, male and female alike.
when leslie first manifested, they got in trouble many times for "misuse of their ability," but they eventually learned a bit of self-control.
