Silver Things have been hectic lately but now that I am starting to get a regular reading schedule again I wanted to start up partaking actively in this group again.

My first book for the year

I've got to finish this series this year. I read the first book before the movie came out and then didn't continue. But I own them on Audible!

This was a good one. Have you read The Song of Achilles? I liked it more than Circe.

message 27: by Silver (new)

Silver I have not read Achilles yet. I love Greek Mythology but when that one came out something about the synopses just did not compel me but after reading Circe I want to read Achilles now.

I read Achilles and The Silence of the Girls very close together and they were both great renditions, telling opposite sides of the same mythology with Achilles as the central character but not much of a POV character.

I loved her Gemma Doyle trilogy but just could not get into The Diviners! I'm still hoping to finish the series and hoping it will get better.

I will have to look into Gemma Doyle. I personally loved the Diviners and would like to read more of the author’s work.
