Stephanie Outland | 2 comments It’s a series of ya books. I read it in the early 2000s, around time is was written. I think all the books were out. At least 5 books I think. One clone, one the moon, is trying to control everyone on the earth, moon and mars by hacking. One clone, I think his name is Tristan, accidentally discovers his hacking and sends his own code dogs to stop it. Meanwhile a clone on mars doesn’t know anything of this, he is only trying to stop damage to his planet and save his family. There is a hacker girl in the underworld who gets involved with Tristan. The only other thing is can really remember is that near the beginning of the first book Tristan fell off the roof when his sisters genetically altered mini unicorn kicked his off. Spoiler: At some point Tristan is attested for the hacking crimes and sent to jail in the Antarctic? He meets the girl there and they escape together. Also everyone has chips in their wrist and Tristan had to deactivate his by electrocuting it with wires through his wrist. I have a lot of vivid memories of the series, but those details stick out. Thank you!!

It sounds pretty much like your description and, luckily, it was solved! The first book in the series is Doomsday by John Peel. It was published in 1999 and it's the first book of the 2099 Series.

I hope this is your book series as well!
