Support for Indie Authors discussion

Hi, my name is Shelly and I just joined this group because I am a new author who will be having my first book published in March of 2020. I do regret though having to go through a vanity press for my first book without knowing any different at the time. I am very new at this book writing business and have no idea what to do or where to go for help on writing a book so I now have joined this group to learn more.

Lesson one, then. When you join a group, it's good to get to know how the group functions. Read over the rules and the code of conduct, etc. before posting. For example, we already have an introduction thread. There was no need for you to start a new one.
