message 1: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 1106 comments I thought I'd like to share this, because it was interesting and actually happened, lol!

My friend was walking by my house, and out of nowhere, someone (who he claims he doesn't know) somehow grabbed his shoe and threw it over my gate and into the compound! Poor one-shoe-less guy had to stand outside my house for a while, contemplating whether he had the physical strength to climb over my gate, and also whether it would be worth the lawsuit and the effort for one shoe.

Eventually he decided to just call my cellphone and ask me to please come outside, which of course I refused to do until he explained...XD

It kept me tickled for half an hour and it was nigh impossible to study after that!

Stephen (stephenT) You have very interesting friend Rachel. hehehee

message 3: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 1106 comments I'll let him know!

On second thought, maybe not...he looked pretty frazzled ...I don't know whether or not he'd be thrilled if he found out I'd told anybody about it. He would think he lost man-points, pffffhahahahaa!

message 4: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) I don't count lost manpoints. Still, don't tell him.

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I sometimes think I need more shoes.

message 6: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) You probably do. I have one pair of dress, and a pair of sandals. I don't know what wouldn't be an appropriate occasion for sandals. People keep saying there are, like my nieces wedding tomorrow. She'll get the black shoes I own. Blech. For the shoes, not my niece.

Ah, home again.

message 22: by Angie (new)

Angie (angabel) At least it was your house and not some random stranger's. Whoever took his shoe and threw it obviously didn't know that, though. Or maybe they did.... Hmmm...
