Fantasy Book Club discussion

Since September is more than half over, I thought maybe we should switch to that month.

Besides, it's almost time for the autumnal equinox! :)

I just finished Jaran and will be returning to Heroes Die at lunch. I'm also interspersing my novel reading with a Connie Willis anthology The Winds of Marble Arch.

Finished Chasing the Dragon the other night, and started Extraordinary Engines The Definitive Steampunk Anthology - just read the first two stories in it, though. Read Fables, Volume 12 The Dark Ages yesterday, and started on The Thirteenth Tale this morning.

I just finished Elantris and absolutely loved it. I an now reading Ark a sequel to Flood and when finished will start Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn Trilogy

Since this group read The Curse of the Mistwraith by Janny Wurts, I thought I'd report that I just finished the next book in the series (The Ships of Merior), and that it's just as good as the first one. If you enjoyed the first book, you really have to check out The Ships of Merior.

Next up I'm reading The Very Best of Fantasy & Science Fiction Sixtieth Anniversary Anthology (a selection of the best short stories from the F&SF magazine), and then most definitely Warhost of Vastmark.
