All - I just spent a ridiculous amount of time checking and reviewing my wishlists, considering which book was to be honored by my gift card. Ultimately, the francophile in me won out over the upcoming fiction release, and I bought a quirky book sitting on my wishlist for a while.

This is one of my husband's all-time favourite books. I've been meaning to get to it a couple of years, but I haven't picked it up yet (I gifted it to him so it's sitting around waiting)

On my next trip to Paris, I am definitdly shopping for a copy in the original French.

Well we shouldn’t be surprised at the speed of the purchase! Congrats, Theresa and I’m confident you’ll love the book - I don’t remember the details well (I read it about 20 years ago) but I remember adoring it. Very French (even in English)

I'm up for a buddy read, but I'd like to wait and see if it the number gets drawn. I feel like I'm drowning in books I want to read atm.
