I would love a review of my book, Texas Secessionists Standoff; the 1997 Republic of Texas War, published in January 2023 by Texas A&M University Press. I have just signed a contract to collaborate with filmmaker Cynthia Uhrich to write a television series adaptation.

I have recently published my history book full of shocking and intersting stories, that truly happened and shape our present.

Why did medieval men think women’s wombs could wander? How did tuberculosis turn into a fashionable way to die? And could a scruffy rat have done more to save Europe than all the royal doctors combined?
These stories travel from Kyiv in flames to Vienna’s quiet streets, from medieval monasteries to Cold War fashion shows; from the age of superstition to the dawn of science, from Mongol devastation to the nuclear age.
It is an easy read, story-driven, and provides a pretty good insight into the lives of people, especially women in the past, and how it matters to us.
No textbook, no academy, just stories and wonder.
