It shouldn’t really be considered a library. It’s just a room with some bookshelves and not enough books to fill them, but there’s some seats.

Quinn walked inside the library, Lucas supposedly behind her.

Lucas looked at the books on the shelves, and sat down in a plush armchair.

Quinn looked the books on the bookshelves, trailing her fingers along the spines. "...Earlier, the whole not shaking hands with you thing? It's because of my power. Not because of you. just thought I should let you know."

"Oh, ok. I don't mean to be nosy, but why can't you touch people?" Lucas asked curious.

"Well, there's this whole thing." she waved her hand dismissively "I drain people's energy when I touch them. kinda sucks. No pun intended."

"That's so cool! But, I see why that could be annoying. And that joke is almost like a dad joke- it sucks- literally!" Lucas responded amused.

Quinn laughed a little, a small smile creeping across her face "ha. Sorry. Once I said it there was really no backing out."

"Ya, you kinda walked right into it!" Lucas hooted.

"Anyway, It's less cool and more the root of most of my insecurities and fears." Quinn tried to play what she said off as a joke. It wasn't a joke.

"It probably gets in the way of things. Also, I can tell that you sound a little sad, so it must be that it's more true than I know. It shouldn't be part of your insecurities. You are a great person, and shouldn't be afraid of your power. It makes you be the person you are now." Lucas replied sincerely.

Quinn sighed and smiled "thanks, Lucas."

"You're welcome, Quinn." Lucas responded, and smiled back.

{ aight. I'll be on later tonight and tomorrow uwu} "Enough about me. Do you have a power?" She asked.

"Ya. I can talk to all animals. It's cool, but also very annoying because I can hear all their curse words and what they think of me." Lucas explained.

"Pff. Well, I'm sure it comes in handy sometimes, right?" Quinn asked, walking over from the bookshelves, and sitting on the ground next to Lucas's chair.

Violet walked inside the Library, she saw two other people but decided to keep her distance. She walked over to the bookshelf and grabbed a book, she then walked over to a bean bag chair, she sat down on it and begun to read the book she picked out.

Quinn had noticed her, but figured that if she had wanted to talk, she probably would have already. Plus, Lucas was easy to talk to for some reason. Kea too. Even if she didn't want to admit it, she really wanted to stick with talking to just them for a little while before branching off to other people.

Violet finished the book quickly, she stood up, put the book back and was about to grab another book but a dusty book on the top shelf caught her eye. She reached for it but it was just out of reach, so she walked over to a reach picked it up and put it down in front of the shelf. Violet stood on the chair and grabbed the dusty book.

Quinn kept glancing over at violet out of curiosity.

Violet got off the chair and brushed the dust off of the book. She then walked back to the bean bag chair, sat down and begun to rea the book.

Dess walked in to the library and began looking at the books on one of the shelves.

Violet looked up from her partly dusty book, she noticed her flower crown was on the chair. She stood up, put the book down and walked over to the chair that's by the bookshelf.

Lunaria followed Dess

Dess grabbed a book off the shelf, thought a moment, and grabbed a second book.

Violet grabbed her flower crown and put it on her head. She glanced at the other people, she picked up the chair and put it back in its original spot.

Lunaria looked around and picked a book about mythology. " Dess?" she asked

Violet walked back over to the bean bag chair, she picked up the partly dusty book and opened it. She flipped through the pages and got a paper cut. "Ouch..," Violet looked at the cut and a drop of blood landed on the page of the book. She looked at the book and she noticed something weird was happening to the page..and the book.

Dess looked up at the sound of her name "yes?"

Violet watched the words on the book change, she touched the page but it burnt her. "Ouch..," Violet dropped the book, the book made a thud and held her finger in slight pain, but she continued to watch the book transform into something different.

" Can you help me get that one?" Lunaria said since she was so short

"Sure which one?"

Violet looked over at the other people to see if they were staring at her when she saw they weren't she picked up the book and looked at the pages. "It's in a different language now..." Violet said to herself. She closed the book and looked at the cover, "The cover as well..." Violet said to herself again. She ran her fingers over the figures on the cover of the book. "Odd.." Violet once again said to herself.

" The one in the top shelf" Lunaria said pointing

Lucas got up and started to pace the room, looking for interesting books. Then, a thick encyclepidia with way too much information slammed onto his head.

Kara sat in the back, reading for next class.

"Ok" Dess could have reached the book, but instead she turned into a bird flew up and grabbed the book.

Lucas rubbed his head, and inwardly groaned. he picked up the encyclepidia as a string of words he would've gotten spanked for came out of his mouth.

"Thanks" Lunaria said

"That's so cool!" Lucas exclaimed wowoed my her power.

"Hey Lucas isn't it? Are you ok that looked like it would have hurt?" Dess said after turning back human.

Lunaria's head shot up in surprise She whipped ot a sowrd and pointed it at the boy

Quinn felt weird because of all the people. She hugged her knees to her chest

Kara grinned at the display of power.

"Ya, it's Lucas. My head's fine." Lucas said glaring at the encyclepidia that was now on the shelf.

Quinn wanted to leave. There were so many people. Lucas would probably be fine.

Violet picked up the book and tried to read it but it was proven difficult as she only knew a few words in this language.

Violet shoved the book into her backpack and headed toward the training room.
