message 18: by Colleen (new)

Colleen | 403 comments For the word "lily" I wonder if it can be the name or does it have to be the flower?

message 19: by Colleen (new)

Colleen | 403 comments Rache wrote: "with 'dog', is it the word 'dog' or a breed?"

Now that I think about it I think it's any breed of dog for instance "collie" or "poodle"

message 20: by elle (new)

elle (ellealf) Colleen wrote: "For the word "lily" I wonder if it can be the name or does it have to be the flower?"

I think the name counts, too. I mean its the word in itself. Like 'rose'; a character named Rose would count

message 21: by elle (new)

elle (ellealf) the dog one is going to be kind of hard

message 22: by Colleen (new)

Colleen | 403 comments Ok harry potters mom is named lily so there is one :)

His hands rose and settled down over it as he gasped for breath.

green pg 389
The wiry gray hair that was only half tucked under her hat and green hunting jacket’s collar gave her away.

gold pg 389

jacket pg 389
My hands slipped inside his jacket again, feeling for blood.

sun pg 391
With the sun rising steadily at his back, his face was thrown into shadow.

backpack pg 391
There was still crushed glass dusted across his shoulders, but I kept my eyes on the backpack clenched between his fingers.

bridge pg 391
There was a new cut across the bridge of his nose, and blood oozed from an open gash on his chin, but…

speech pg. 404
That was a nice little speech.

mother pg 407
I know, as a mother of an infant, I’m particularly interested in finding out whether or not my son…

politician pg 407
Surely enough politicians on both sides are in a similar enough position to sympathize with the thousands of...
