Unique names are fun, when i can pronounce them lol

Unique names are ok but I prefer, if possible, a pronunciation guide for, say, Gaelic or European names, or even other races,genders, or ethnic groups. .

I love weird names even if I can't pronounce them because the author always makes them have an interesting personality. I absolutely love ponyboy and sodapop and aelin and everyone else!!!

I enjoy unique names but i also prefer authors include pronunciation guides when including what amounts to an entire different language’s proper nouns

In the third book of The Antunite Chronicles, Antunites Unite all the characters names are based on the colors red, black or brown; names like Blood, Rudyard, Raven, Pepper, Dolomite, etc.

I like unique names, especially in fantasies because I feel like it makes the whole thing seem more fantastical & fun, but I don't like when it's super difficult to pronounce. For example, the names in ACOTAR aren't common (i.e., Feyre, Nesta, Amren, etc.), but they're all easy to pronounce

Yes. But depending on the setting, a common name could work.

would Katniss and Prim be unique names? i love the matching flower names for the sisters, kinda like Lily and Petunia. i like that they're unique but actually easy to pronounce, unlike some other names

when they don't sound like hrlifcmbsgriboei in my head I think its cool
