What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I remember reading a book over from the library and over as a kid. Here's what I can remember:

- I think the book was about what you could grow up to be, but it was things like "cowboy" or "space explorer"or someone who cooks, not so much 'Doctor'. It seemed to have more to do with activities.
- I think hats played a role, related to the different jobs
- It was published before 1999
- I lived in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
- Paper book, I think it was hardcover
- Illustrated with a cartoon-y/fun/sweet style, bright colours. Not realistic/photorealistic
- THE MAIN PICTURE I remember was of a cowgirl sleeping backwards on her horse with her feet up on it's head. (I always wondered how she could stay there and tried to copy it on the arm of my couch) The picture was somewhere in the middle of the book, not the cover I don't think.
