This is a clean and delightful story about a retiring high school teacher who very carefully avoids meeting new people, or enjoying new experiences that might upset the balance of his carefully controlled life. Enter the lovely and colorful artist who throws Mr. Emerson off balance with her spontaneous zest for life. This simply will not do! But the problem is he can't stop thinking about her. Wonderful and wholesome story.
