For a personal challenge I'm going to try and read a book for every slot, but am happy to fill in where needed. it's Carnegie shortlisting time so I'll have to get those all read - mostly 2019/20 publication.

I have books published in the '80's and '90's.

Hey, thanks for using the spreadsheet. Just make sure to only enter one year as it will be confused if you try to do something like 1990/1991

I'll remember for next time.

I'm just sorting out what I want to read next month. I'm cutting down on buddies as I'm trying to do too much and if things arise then I get way out of sorts and then get stressed trying to get everything back on track. I'll still be doing some as the points are good but I'm not setting up the 30 odd I did last month.

Hopefully, we can all manage a few older books to help fill the grid

At the moment I've just added my buddies. I will sort out other books to read some of them will be older books.

How is everyone's reading going? I finally finished long ass Crescent City so I can knock out a bunch of books this weekend, hopefully.

Good effort, Jaye. It looks a grueller and I'm just working my way through it.
Trying to plan my reading for this alongside NetGalley/mood reading. Looking for spaces to fill in wherever I can - the other team have almost finished the board once.

Hi guys sorry work was horrendous this week and I'm 2 weeks from finishing a college course. I have been reading but not as much as I usually do. I'm working through the reviews and buddy notes today. I have 4 to post so far. the other team is on fire 44 books already. This is going to be a tough one.

Okay finally up to date lol. I should have another one finished tonight. I've finally finished all the February buddies now working on catching up with the march ones.

I've had a good look and what i can read. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll have 2 more lines finished, the last line will be done twice. Sorry but most of my books fill that line. Trying hard to find some to fill other lines.

I just finished reviews for 6 books so I'm hoping to get those posted today!

I feel bad that I’m trawling through NetGalley and library stuff which are all new releases. Trying to look for older stuff too!

Karen I think the trick is to out read them. We have a lot on our team that does buddy reads. I am joining in a few more now that I'm more sorted. They are reading more books then us but we go in spurts. I'll have between 3-5 to post today again. If we complete the grid then great if not we can be smart and get several line bonuses. It's better to read what we like as we read faster and read more then trying to read books that we don't like.

With the reviews you've all posted today the gap has narrowed a little. We've still got plenty of time!

I'm so ready for March to be over. I just can't seem to win with college and work. So tired that I can't even pick up a book. I am reading, the last book I read was so long and dragged. I'm so glad that it's over. I haven't DNF a book in ages and I really didn't want to give up. I have lots of smaller buddies to catch up on so I'll be working on them this week. Then I have a few meatier books to read for max points. I was hoping to fit some books in between the buddies but I'm not going to be able to now. Hopefully i can start to find some to fill gaps soon. You guys are doing amazing I just wish I could help more. Hopefully I'll be caught up and in a better place by the weekend.

Karen whats the minimum for points on middle grade books?

I’ll check this later, but think the rules say 300 pages for MG.

Whew....I'm back lol. Lots of reading this weekend and all reviews are up to date. It's just a shame that the other team has two members catching up on their reviews too.

Sorry guys My cat jumped on my laptop and screwed the spread sheet up and I can't fix it. I tried undoing what she did but it's gone screwy now. Really sorry.

Don’t fret too much. Now Sarah’s up to date (ish) with reviews it’s quite easy to see the gaps.

For now still at work and will be unless I get ill I work in a special needs school so we are staying open as long as we can. Hope your all safe.

I’m having to remain at home and work from home. It’s horrible, as I want to be doing more. So far, all okay but so angry at the hundreds of people who came to visit the village I live in today.

I know we are staying when we can. Just leaving to go to work or the shop. We have a big outdoor space and people were posting the pics of it today. You would have thought that a concert was going on up there or something.

Stay indoors for a few weeks and the virus will die out, not listening keeps its alive. Stupid people.
