English Mysteries Club discussion

Each month we will have an optional group read. This will alternate between older English Mysteries, and more recent ones. Every so often there will be a classic mystery option too.

The intention here is to alternate between primarily "Golden Age" mysteries (typically between 1920s and 1930s) and others which largely conform to this style. We'll try not to get hung up on dates, although perhaps a good rule of thumb might be to have a year such as 1960 in mind, to split the reads.

The thread for nominations will be posted on 1st of every month. Nominations (just one per member please) will be taken for the first week. The second and third weeks are for voting in the poll, and the fourth week is for everyone to get the book.

Please only suggest books which are accessible in more than one format, and not brand new books which have only just been published.

You can second a book instead of nominating, but not both.
