Anna, thanks for pointing this out! I never looked at the number of views. My very first interview was on March 10, 2020. I am disappointed that only 36 interviews have been posted since then. Quite a few authors have sent a private message, but never responded with answers from my questions. *sigh*

Hi Trana! I'm a self published horror author, but I'm writing because I took a glance at your website. It looks like you have some awesome ancestors. I dabble, but thought you might find it interesting that I have Salem ancestors too. In fact, your ancestors may have persecuted some of mine... No worries though. It's literally centuries of water under the bridge. My lineage stems from the Blakes. Rebecca Blake Eames was my 9th great grand aunt, a convicted witch. She confessed and was pardoned. It's a small world that we live in!

Best of luck with your continued writing endeavors.

One of the ways we can help Trana's site is to visit it and 'like' it and share.

Diane, thanks for posting about your Salem family connection! When I started writing, I hadn't known we were involved. Not a single member of my enormous family had ever mentioned a Salem Witch Trial connection. One of my aunts had done a lot of genealogy and traced the Irish side of our family back through the 1500s but had never given us anything about the Putnam side. I knew my 4th great-grandmother was born in Sutton. When I found her father was born in Salem, I dug deeper. I was astounded to find my 6th great-grandfather was the Deacon Edward Putnam, brother to Thomas Putnam. So, yes, my ancestors were indeed the ones that persecuted yours. Definitely a small world. Sorry about their evil doings! But it did add an interesting twist to my historical fiction.

Best of luck in your writing endeavors too! If you'd like to be interviewed, please send a private message. :)
