Janeiowa Unfortunately, the free very short story of Seth Quinn's first Christmas with the family is no longer available.

For those of us who think the Chesapeake Bay quartet is perhaps the best thing she's written, this was a lovely gift to her readers.

Janeiowa I'd gone to Library and did a search with tags Chesapeake Saga and Original release checked...and got zero hits.

Going to the Library and searching there made sense to the Librarian in me....guess web designers don't think the same way Librarians do....like that's a big surprise! :)

I thought it would have made sense to at least tag it with the series, just as you thought. Then I started thinking like an advertiser...free:)

Nicole R (drnicoler) | 219 comments I think what bothers me most about her website (old and new. And for Inn Boonsboro) is that it looks like an amateur did it in a basic web design application with a free design template.

Basic web design is great and there are many great starters/templates to take advantage of, but you would think with as successful as Ms. Roberts is that she could hire a web designer (freelancers are not that expensive) who could really make a great looking, professional website.

Nicole, I agree that in comparison to other authors' websites, it's pretty basic. Nora seems to be extremely loyal to the people who've been around her for years, which doesn't always translate to the best talent. Given her circumstances, I can understand why she's made this choice.

At least her site is easy to navigate and the info is pretty easy to find.

I agree, The Chesapeake Bay books are they best. I loved the short story and it fit perfectly at this time of year. Thank you, Jonetta, for posting the link.
