Welcome to the group. I am a local author in North Devon, not far from you.
I write comedy books about a small North Devon village. There is adventure, the occasional murder a pinch of romance and lots of funny characters.
On Amazon ebooks, paperbacks and Kindle Unlimited.
Happy reading

Hi Kerri- thanks so much for posting and my apologies for the delay in responding - my Covid-19 thread explains why. l will try to do better in the coming weeks. You are very welcome to the group and I hope you will enjoy being part of our community. Be great to hear about what you are currently reading over on that thread.

Hi Kerri, Welcome to the Group! Ian - who started and hosts the blog - is a great leader, although obviously (right now) he is probably busier than most of the rest of us put together.
I'm Carole /DrMama/other pseudonyms, and I live near Kingsbridge. We love Tavy! You are so lucky to live there. Sadly we only get to visit when we have had a good moorland walk in the area.
I read just about any and every genre, although tend to like heavier stuff. I'm very involved in supporting Libraries (the Kingsbridge one is superb, with wonderful staff) and of course all our wonderful Devon bookshops (again Kingsbridge's 'Harbour Bookshop' is fantastic). I'm currently doing battle with Hilary Mantel's latest novel ... and finding that I am not so enamoured as with 'Wolf Hall' and 'B up the Bs'. I don't read much autobiog, but do love biography.
Lovely to have you on the blog!

Hi Carole - as always thanks for your kind words and support. Life is a little on the hectic side at present - even more salvation for me in our community and in all the books we talk about. I also have The Mirror and The Light but have not yet plucked up the courage to begin. I need a bit more energy first - at present I need lighter reads but I shall look forward to reading it later in the year. Take good care x

Nice to be in a group with some local-ish, like-minded people.
