Also BTW that Harry Potter GIF is amazing."
Isn't it! I didn't have high hopes when searching for a GIF. But then I seen that one. And I freaked out. Lol.

Awesome. I might not be able to check in till the 3rd of so depending on when you put them up. I'm leaving VERY early Monday morning which is like 8 or 9pm in the states.

I read about 10-12 books a month

Yes, this is normally a non-competitive challenge we have on-going throughout the year. However, for this team quarterly challenge we wanted to put a spin on this one and make it a competitive challenge!
PS - HOW EFFING AWESOME IS THIS HARRY POTTER A-Z GIF! Okay, I’m done fangirling now. :D
This challenge is super simple with a few rules that you and your team members will have to follow. To complete the challenge you are going to do exactly what the name of the challenge says. You’re going to read books from A to Z. But, of course, there’s a catch to finding your letters! Because I’m an evil mod! Muahahahha! >:D
You must use objects on the cover of your book to find your letters! This is NOT a challenge where you will be using letters from the title of the books. You can use any edition cover for this challenge. You will use the first letter of any object to fill in your letters.
For example, if I read Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas and used the original cover (
I understand that there are super hard letters to find objects for. So for the letters Q, V, X, and Z. You will be able to use the title of the book to find these letters if you wish. In order to use a title for one of these letters, it must be the first letter in any word in the title or found in the author initials. (you can use alternate edition titles for these letters as well)
When posting on your teams review thread you cannot post out of order.
For example, the last post on your review thread is an R book. And you have a T book to post. You must wait until the teammate that is reading for the S book has posted it.
When posting for your objects please also post the cover (or link) of the edition you found your object in. This way I have an easier time verifying everyone is actually finding the objects they are posting. If you do not post the cover that contains your object I will comment that you need to post the cover and your book will not count for points or a letter until you have done so. I am not spending a crazy amount of time searching covers of all the editions of books to find your object for you.
A spreadsheet will be available for teams to keep track of what they are reading and who has claimed what.
When signing up, please post how many books you plan on reading for each month of the challenge. Keep in mind the holidays that fall during these months.
Example:
April - 10 books
May - 6 books
June - 15 books
You can ask any questions you might have here or in this thread.
