Next month's reading choices. I'm actually going to throw my hat in for Dawnhounds.

I'd vote for anything except Grace of Kings

It seems I can get all the first three and like you, Chris, I read Grace of Kings and did not like it very much - rated it a 2. Not interested in a reread but will listen if you all choose this.

Yeah my thought was also influenced by it being on the longer side at 640 pages.

Grass is also pretty long - 544 pages

And, though I expect Recursion to be well-liked, it may not lead to deep discussions. Thus Dawnhounds.

Length is a factor for me, too, and the Crouch--no offense to it--holds no interest, so I'll also vote for Dawnhounds.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it to the Zoom meeting... I was doing homework... :(

I just bought Dawnhounds yesterday. so I'd vote for that.

What is the date for the discussion? I'm kind of assuming the 25th since that's the last Sunday of the month?

I’d vote for Deathless or Bone Shard — as much as I like Murakami I can’t imagine myself adding a 900+ page book on top of my other reading plans with less than a month to finish it

No, I don't think I do. I alternate between leggings and sleep leggings :P But, maybe some vitamins to help with concentration? Or just a brain lift, that's a thing, right? But looks like I'm not the only one not super enthused about 1Q84 right now, so maybe such drastic measures won't be needed. I'll browse the online shops for serious pants anyway, just in case.
