I'm sorry for disappearing... I've been unwillingly phased out of this dimension.
Every year the story is s the same... the first weeks of a new job always disrupt my reading schedule. Basically, there are the books that I read in August, and the ones I read in late October. This year it's taken even longer than usual.
I'll try to get back on board, as far as possible.
I'd really love to take part in the Radch meeting, but I still haven't even started the saga. What's the timeline for the rest of us?
Incidentally, thanks for the Zoom invite on Halloween, but it was 9 pm in Europe and I was out with friends.

I don't believe it has been formally schedueld yet, but most likely towards the end of the month, so start reading/ listening now!

Don't forget to participate in voting for reread since this is part of the pool of books we use to determine future VBC books.

And sorry for the delay, I’m just getting better from the stomach flu.
I can't make a fancy poll like Allison, but how do we feel about December 8. This weekend is probably too soon and the following is a US holiday.
I personally request we start at 12EST instead of 11; otherwise I will be at least half an hour late.

I'm up for basically any Saturday or Sunday, but on Sunday I can't make it too late in the evening, because it's a school night and I need to get the kiddos to bed. My time is UTC+3.

Make us a poll please because I am very bad at converting times.

I think you will really like [book:Ancillary Justice|17333324] and should just take the leap and start it. And if you only read the one book before the meeting, join anyway.

Just ignore the one that has no family and no obligations and can attend VBC at any time of day or night ))) *sigh*

Cheryl, Would you be able to come on the 15th? The poll has options for that day too.

@All
The earliest time slot has the most people who cam come, but there is a tie for the 8th vs the 15th, so which day y'all want?

With nearly three weeks ahead, I might be able to finish the trilogy in time. Obviously you're welcome to pick up another date in the general interest, considering that I'm the only one that's lagging behind.

I just realized that I forgot to fill out the poll. I'm available any of the times on the 15th.

I think there's an official SFFBC calendar on Google.
Meanwhile, I'll be busy catching up on the Radchaai!
The link to the official SSBC calendar is in the first post of this thread, but Allison needs to updated it I think.
We need a volunteer to lead the meeting since I can't be there at the chosen time. I'm willing to send you a list of discussion topics if it will be helpful.

Just a quick reminder that we meet tomorrow @11 am EST to discuss all things Radch.
You can find the link in SFFBC Google calendar (you can find it in the very first post of this thread, GR doean't allow e to post external links) event and I'll also post it here about ah hour before.
