Beth (rosewoodpip) | 2003 comments The first post in the thread says 10EST, but since Olga's post above and the google calendar show 11, I'll take best 2 out of 3 and look for the meeting link a little bit before 11.

message 2652: by Olga (new)

Olga Yolgina | 589 comments In the Doodle poll there was no option for 10 am EST, the earliest was 11 and it had most votes. In the previous post it was a typo.

Sorry, I'm pretty sure I got the time wrong initially and because time zones nobody noticed.

a.g.e. montagner (agem) | 660 comments I'd be able to join, timewise.

What I haven't been able to do is finish the saga on time; I'm not even halfway through the second volume so far, and I'd rather avoid spoilers, which I guess will be inevitable. I mean I would spoiler (view spoiler) this trilogy, once completed.

message 2661: by Melanie (new)

Melanie | 75 comments I'm sorry I can't make it, I'm avoiding spoilers as well. Please let me know what the next book choice is so I'm better prepared for the next meeting. :)

Well, we missed both you and Melanie today, but our conversation was very spoilery. I believe Aga, Olga, and I may be headed into Translation State in December because of the need to know more about the Presger.

In January :)

a.g.e. montagner (agem) | 660 comments Oh, I do plan to read all Radch material. Isn't Provenance the next one following the trilogy?

Yes, January, since we're already half-way through December!

I'm not sure it matters which order they're read in. I do plan to read all of the Radch material also.

Beth (rosewoodpip) | 2003 comments Is it too early in the holidays to think about January's VBC? I'll think about it anyway, especially since at least one of the possible selections is quite long.

Beth (rosewoodpip) | 2003 comments Oh ho! Thank you. This has been The VBC thread for so long, I hadn't considered there might be another one.
