The August genre is:
AUGUST'S GENRE: VERSE/POETRY BOOKS

Description

Dying Earth is a subgenre of science fantasy which takes place in the far future at either the end of life on Earth or the End of Time, when the laws of the universe themselves fail. It differs from the apocalyptic subgenre in that it deals not with catastrophic destruction, but with entropic exhaustion of the Earth.

Shannon (shannonthemidget32) | 38 comments Would The 5th Wave count for the Dying Earth genre? I'm not entirely sure and I just wanted to check before I bought something else :)

message 226: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle | 25787 comments In my opinion it doesn't fit as it's more focusing on the alien invasion.
