I cannot wait to finally get started with this book! I have heard so much praise for it! Who's excited to read along this month?

In the midst of all this Corona Craziness as I've come to call it, it will be nice to connect with you all here in this group. I hope you're staying home as much as possible and are healthy.

I know very little about this read, but just playing off the title, what's one place that has become special to you in this last month of serious social distancing. For me, I think my normal reading chair has been one of the causes of my back pain so I've been loving the couch in my living room. I've set myself up quite nicely with a candle, pulled a table closer to put whatever I'm drinking, and of course some cozy blankets. How about you guys?

I’m anxious to read this. I can’t recall who it was, but another Booktuber reviewed this within the past month and really liked it. I Love learning about different cultures. And we all know how crazy wedding time can be.
My favorite reading place is downstairs laying on the loveseat with a fire going and a blanket my eight-year-old grandson made for me. Especially when everyone else in the home is asleep or just quiet. So peaceful!

Hello everyone! I am excited to read with you again this month. I was able to get the book from my library on my kindle so I will need to read it soon, before it expires.

Have a cozy little reading room but I also read other places in our home. Of course, I have to a nice, cozy blanket wherever In the summer I love to read outside. We have strings of lights on our deck and I use a book light so I can read after dark. AHHHHH! It is so peaceful out there.

Krista, I bought one of those Woodwick candles that you like....the fireside fir scent. I hope your back gets better soon.

I am here Krista!... I started the book on April 1st, and into Part 2 already. I am so grateful that I found your Youtube channel and joined your Goodreads reading group. I'm not one to be drawn to reading about other cultures all though they do fascinate me. It's been through your monthly suggestions that I am expanding my reading genres... started with "Snowflower and The Secret Fan" and now this one. Again I did't know if I would get into the story like Snowflower, but by the first couple of pages I was drawn right in and I want to know what is going on with Amar and the rest of the family.

One of my favorite spots to read is my big round cozy "nesting" chair with a soft throw blanket and a hot cup of tea or coffee.... must get a nice scented candle some time soon..

I'm excited to read this but...wasnt paying attention when i ordered it from Amazon and it is coming via third party...the long way. So I will be late to the party!

I'm so excited to start! A Place For Us was one of my favorite books last year. This time I am listening to the audio. I am reading on my Kindle much more than usual because of the pandemic, and I am so thankful for it. My reading spots are mostly the same.

I was able to get it from the library before it closed. I’ve already read it and it’s a really good book!

Starting this a little late but looking forward to talking about it with some other folks. I’ve been reading a lot in my bed which is good and bad. It’s nice because it’s cozy but bad because I’m just laying around way too much!

Just going to start it tonight, so thankful to my library having books on Libby. Miss going to my library during this pandemic but happy that me and my family are all safe. Hope everyone else is too. My usual reading spots are the couch in the family room or the living room, usually with my dog sleeping beside me. Looking forward to reading this book.
