All About Books discussion

Week 66 brings us to one of my favorite authors of humor -- P.G. Wodehouse. Joy in the Morning is one of the best of the Jeeves and Wooster series but you can enjoy it as a stand-alone novel if you have not encountered Bertie Wooster before.

I've read several of his books. So enjoyable! I think of them as immune system boosters because they're a sure fire way to make me laugh. Oddly though, I haven't read Joy in the Morning yet. It's going straight onto my to-read list :)

A book for my challenge then!

Joy in the Morning is #8 in the "Jeeves" books. Is it better to read the series beginning with book #1 to get a sense of the characters?

No, I don't think that it matters. If I recall correctly, #1 is a collection of short stories so I probably would say start with #2, The Inimitable Jeeves.
