What are you reading this week? (April 6 to April 12)

This week I am planning to read The Most Fun We Ever Had by Claire Lombardo for an upcoming book club offering (more details to come!) and will also likely start Jasmine Guillory's upcoming title Party of Two.

Have motored right on to the third Uptown book by Ruby Lang, House Rules (I don't think this series is available through UHLS's OverDrive, but it is through NYPL's SimplyE app). I also read Amy Bonnaffon's debut novel The Regrets in one sitting on Sunday--highly recommended if you enjoy Karen Russell, Samanthy Irby, and the like.

This looks like an amazing, terrifying read. If you enjoy true crime, I read I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer last year and was hooked. It is rather graphic at times, but it's well written and kept me interested despite it not being my usual genre.

Adding to my list!

I am currently reading Six of Crows . Hopefully, I will finish up this weekend so I can listen to my audiobooks! I have The Starless Sea, The City We Became, and The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires.
My weekend is all booked :) Happy reading everyone!

Let me know what you think of The Starless Sea. I requested the book when it first came out, but returned it unread because I was reading too many other things at the time.
I'm listening to the audiobook for [book:Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine|31434883] and trying to finish up Steel Crow Saga. I'm not sure the Eleanor Oliphant audiobook is my cup of tea, but I'm giving it a chance.
Edit: Apparently Goodreads doesn't know how it feels about Eleanor Oliphant either since it isn't playing nice with the book link. Oh well.

I read a book a few months back that was a mix between Helen Prejean's memoir and - I think the book about Oklahoma City - Call it Grace: Finding Meaning in a Fractured World by Serene Jones. You may like that as well!
Enjoy all your reading this weekend folks! I've got Arundhathi Roy's Collected Non-Fiction - My Seditious Heart to keep me busy!

I'm continuing my theme of only reading books set in England in the 1900s, and am re-reading Jane and Prudence by Barbara Pym, one of my favorite authors.... and it looks like it's available in our Overdrive collection right now, too!
I'm also re-watching the amazing BBC production of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth, which is brightening up my days :)
