Natasha cracks me up! "Let me just add a hint of avocado and sauerkraut to this lemon chiffon cake to bring out it's essence - it's so on trend." She didn't actually say that but she could've, lol!The fact that Sophie is now being sought out to solve crimes is a hoot, too!
I always think Sophie must be the most patient person in the works for putting up with Natasha!!!

And I have to comment here that I love the Diva series because it is pretty light reading, despite the murders. But I am re-thinking after the brutal attack on Alex. I really don't care for that sort of crime in my cozies. I will continue, though.
Yes, she did make some calls to book some venues for events but mostly she's just going around town talking to people (and eating). I think it's also funny that Natasha says that Sophie is her best friend! Oh boy. With friends like that who needs enemies LOL
She RARELY works, lol! Also, I think Natasha pretty much told Sophie she's her best friend, it wasn't Sophie's idea. ;-)

Sophie has met the family of a possibly (probably, I guess) incarcerated woman, jailed for a murder a few years ago. It seems to Sophie that the old case might be tied up with the recent death of Patsy Lee.
And now we have the appearance of the dreaded Natasha, previously out of our current story. Natasha appears to be in line to be the new Patsy Lee, thanks to Patsy's former husband, Peter. Her first time in the spotlight does not go well...
