"I'd say not considering we're all criminals, we're out here to survive, and we don't know what's out here." He said.

"Were out here to die," she corrected, "we were sent down here to see how long it would take for us to die," she itched at her mettle cuff which sent her vitals and such back to the arch, "that's what these are for!"

"It's not like there impossible to take off." He said looking at her.

She frowned, "so you'd be okay with the arch thinking your dead?" She questioned.

"What have they done for us? Nothing, just put us in boxes waited for us to die." He said looking at her. "So yes, I'd be fine for them to think I was dead."

Jess shrugged, "then prove it."

"Unless you can find a flat narrow piece of wood or metal you can't get the thing off." He said.

"Then I'll add those to my list of things to find," she stated, "I'm going to find food," she started into the forest.

"I wouldn't do that." He said following her.

"And why not?" She questioned, letting him walk with her.

"Well don't worry Jess. If you're cool with it, I could handle being friends and allies with you." Reese offered cheerfully. "Oh, and making them think you're dead is a piece of cake. Ask and ye shall receive." She gave a mocking bow.

"Do you have any weapon on you?" He asked looking at her.

She clenched her jaw, "well... No... But I'll figure it out."

"Then I suggested holding off till you get one."

She glared at him, "don't tell me what to do."

"Alright." He said shrugging.

She walked on and found herself a a small river. Jess smiled, "we can sharpen a stick or something and fish."

"Do you have anything to sharpen the sticks with?" He asked.

Jess pressed her lips together, "are you going to question me the hole time?"

"Here." Reese offered Jess her knife. "Keep it. I have plenty of others." She smiled slightly.

"No I'm not, if you want I can stop." He offered.

Jess watched him, not sure what to say. She took the knife from Reese, "stop fallowing me, it's creepy."

"Fine, do want you want." He said and turned around as he started walking back.

She frowned, "wait..." She didn't want to be left alone.

"Yes?" He asked turning around.

Jess sighed, "please don't go..."

"Alright." He said walking back to her.

She nodded and looked at the water, "I don't see any fish..." The water was clear as glass. She went to it, wondering if it was drinkable.

"Well radioactivity doesn't mix well with water." He muttered scanning the surface for fish.

She nodded and knelt down. She cupped some water in her hands.

He watched her warily.

Jess sipped the water and waited a moment before looking back at him, "seams safe."

He nodded and came up next to her.

She got another scoop of water, only realizing how thirsty she was now. She drank a bit more.

Akane stay silent and watched her looking for any signs.

Jessica glances at him from the corner of her eye before wiping her mouth with her sleeve, "do you always stare at girls wile they drink?"

"I'm looking for early signs of poisoning Jess." He said.

She rolled her eyes, "your so paranoid," she stood and took off her boots, then shocks, "want to go for a swim?"

"I'm good here." He said looking at the water.

She shrugged before taking off her hands and long sleeve shirt. Jess pulled her brown hair out of it's bun before walking into the water.

He looked at her for a few moments before going back to the water still not trusting what was in it.

Jess swam around a bit, "common, the water is grate."
A dark figure swam threw the water, heading right for Jess.

"Jess." He said carefully. "Get out of the water."

She looked at him confused, then over to where he had been looking. Her eyes widened and she started swimming back to him.
The dark overgrown fish got closer and took her under. Jess squirmed and tried hitting it as it brought her down. She managed to get away and swam to the surface and pulled herself out of the water, panting. A large bit mark took up most of her thigh.

"This is what I was afraid of." He muttered and picked her up and laying her down against a tree.

Jess shivered, both from the cold and from chock. She hid her face in his chest, slightly embarrassed.

He set her down leaning against a tree he took off his jacket and gave it to her hopping to get her warmer.

She took it and wrapped it around herself, "thanks..." She looked at her bleeding leg and whimpered, "at least it doesn't hurt..." She adrenalin was to high for it to hurt just yet.

"That's good." He said and looked at the wound. "Well it missed most of the vital parts so good news you will be able to walk again, bad news treating the wound is going to hurt."
