message 14: by Catie (new)

Catie (gollywollypogs) | 13 comments I read Clothes, Clothes, Clothes. Music, Music, Music. Boys, Boys, Boys.. I absolutely loved it but it wouldn't be for everyone as it's very bleak at times. I chose to read it for the early part of the book which is about her involvement in the punk scene in the UK (this is my generation!)and that was very good but loved it more for the rest of the book which is the life she made afterwards despite some pretty hard times.

message 26: by Melody (last edited Nov 23, 2015 03:54PM) (new)

Melody | 208 comments I recently finished Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls by David Sedaris. I wouldn't say it's as good as some of his other memoir/essay/short story collections like Me Talk Pretty One Day or Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, but it was still overall amusing, thoughtful, and an expression of Sedaris' unique voice.
