The Mating question

I read this book a while back and I cannot remember the series it is from so I can reread. If anybody can help I'd be very thankful. It's about a girl who is mistreated and she waits for the right time to get her little brother and run away. They stole a car out the driveway and I think somebody also helped them escape. She drives for a long time then stops at a diner to eat an feed her brother. That's when a guy (werewolf) come in to eat. She gets spooked then leaves but runs into the bad guys in the parking lot but the guy from the diner goes out and helps her escape. He is riding a motorcycle and talks her into trading the car for a truck so he can help her get safe. Which he ends up taking her to a house he just bought in I think colorado. Not sure if that's right. But a older lady lives there and his brother. They are fixing up the house and making it like a b&b but also a pack house.
