For this challenge you will get a gift and give a gift for our fellow challengers birthdays. The gift of a good book rec that is.
Each month you will choose 1 or more of the birthday participants and read a book from their read shelf. This is your gift from them.
You will also give book recommendations to the people who have birthdays that month. This is your gift to them. Please be thoughtful in your gifts and take some time to see what they like or don't like and what they have already read. You can encourage them to move a book already on their TBR up the ranks or give them something entirely new to consider.
Birthday participants are gathered from the Birthdays thread. If you want to receive recommendations please list your birthday there. You do not have to share your birthday to participate in this challenge. (Note*- Members on the birthday thread will be added here. If your birthday is on the birthday thread and not here but you want it to be please pm Penni.)
To complete the month you must read one book and recommend at least one book. But as to not overwhelm the birthday boys and girls please only recommend only 1 book per person. Feel free to give recs to all the birthday kiddos for the month even if you only read from one's shelves.
If you receive a gift for your birthday please let us know what you thought after you read it too!
Please post your recommendations in a new post. You can update an early post if you want for your records, but October Birthdays are not going to think to look back to your January post for their recommendations. It also makes it easier for people to follow along in conversation.
