Sophie stormed in. She didn't usually get angry like this, but there were just some things that really were annoying. Like Piper, for instance. She sat down on her bed and just thought for a while, not really about anything in general.

Gabriel appeared in the middle of her dorm out of nowhere with a snap. One of the good things about being an angel, you could be anywhere at anytime. He noticed Sophie with a small smirk. "Hello. Why are you looking so pissed?"

Sophie wasn't even going to question why or how he was here. "It's kind of a long story, but you can hear it if you want. I liked a boy, but he was killed by someone who used to be my friend before she regenerated. The boy regenerated as well, and the girl who used to be my friend made him think that I was the one who killed him and that I'm bad. Really, it's the girl who's bad, and I never got to know what the boy's new personality would be like."

"Woah woah woah, slow down. The only things that appear to people and regenerate are Time Lords and their planets was gone a long time ago," he said with a disbelieving smile. "Don't ask me how I know about this because at the time it was a pretty big deal upstairs and technically I'm not supposed to tell anyone."

"I realize that our planet was destroyed. We were all on earth when it happened. Please don't remind me," Sophie said, trying to figure out what this thing was.

"Wow, I knew that Timelords didn't easily go out but this is awesome. I applaud you." He grinned, not caring that he might be offending her. "Now your problem is that you fell in love with him, but he was killed and now he thinks you are evil. Now I can fix him if you want, but for a price."

"I don't care about getting him 'fixed.' The universe doesn't work that way, and I'm especially not doing it if it requires a price. I have no idea what that price amy be, and I'm not planning on finding out," she said, brushing some imaginary dust off of her bed.

"Fine then. It's possible for me to reverse the regeneration, but I guess that you just don't love him that much. It's only a small price too, not like what humans have to pay up. I'm not asking for your soul, oh no." He looked around the room. "And it's not like he'll become Piper's servant or anything."

"What even are you?" Sophie said, eyeing Gabriel.

"I'm the Trickster," Gabriel said with a grin.

"I'm not even going to question what that means, but I meant what species are you? The last time I checked, Tricksters weren't a species."

"We are a certain type of demigods. So yes, we are in fact a species." Gabriel made a face at her. "We just aren't heard of much."

"I have honestly never heard of that before. Of course, the last time I checked was probably a couple hundred years ago," Sophie said.

"So are you still not going to save your friend from the grasp of Piper?" he asked, completely ignoring her previous statement.

"Well, I guess I do. But that would mess up space and time. Has it even been done before?" Sophie asked, scared that it wouldn't work.

"Nope." Gabriel's grin spread across his face. "But there's a first for everything."

"Well, if it hasn't been done before, I'm not doing it. I don't trust you with my friend, even if you're really trying to help," Sophie said. She could be very stubborn sometimes.

"I'm older than you think I am little girl. I promise it'll work," he said, dead serious.

"Hopefully you're not judging from my appearance and if you aren't, I guess I am a little young for a timelord. I guess if you give more reasons on why I should trust you I would let you do it."

"Fine then. Have fun with being forever alone." He turned around to walk out the door.

Sophie ran to the door. "Wait, no. Maybe you could try."

"Great. Now let's talk price. Now normally it would be a human soul and they would go to hell, but you're special. One of the few Timelords left. Now how about a regeneration for a regeneration." He put his hands together. "Now do we have a deal?"

It was a large price to pay, even for a timelord. "I've already spent seven of my regenerations. That gives me five left," Sophie said as she thought over the deal. "I guess I'll take it. But you are really going to regret this if it doesn't work."

"If it doesn't work, I'll give it back. I'll be back later for my payment, but I recommend talking to your friend before this gets done. Just to see if you really want to do this." He snapped and with a woosh that sounded suspiciously like wings he was gone.
