Addicted to YA discussion

One of my favorite TV shows and I wanted to know what you thought about it.

I'm still on season 9 but man do I hate this show lol. It's so addicting but it keeps ripping our hearts out! The amount of tears I've shed for this show smh and I keep returning to it arghhhh.

With that said, do you have a favorite character? XD I keep telling people not to have a favorite because...you know...*sniffles* but I find it inevitable to have some.

Mine is Michonne and Darryl!

IKR! The biggest shock for me was Carl. Like, I was 100% confident that they wouldn't touch Rick and Carl but OMG. THEY DID.

WTFFFFFF (and I know that Rick is technically still alive but STILL. WTF)

IDK I just know that I cried for a long time after Carl died.

What is the most shocking scene to you?

One of mine is the end of ep.15 of season 9

DEFINITELY Carl's death. For sure. I was so sure he'd make it to the end. I cried. There are other ones too like Beth's death, Glenn's death, the King (Idk why I'm blanking on his name, I LOVE him) losing his people AND the tiger when victory was in sight, Carol losing her daughter way back in the day, etc.

And of course what happened to Rick was truly shocking as well. The fact that he's been gone for six years too...

YUP that's the one! Because back then we didn't realize that the show was gruesome enough to go after children. That was so unsettling...

Do you have a favorite season?

Oh and don't worry about it! ( at least I don't know what happens haha)

I'm actually gonna go back to watching walking dead today. I'm so afraid of seeing more of my characters dying (I'm still recovering over Jesus's death...) but I want to finish season 9 and see the finale!

My favorite season is either 3 or 7 but I like them all!

Same! I don't think I have a favorite season since they all have their strengths and weaknesses.

Do you watch Fear of the Walking Dead as well? I'm only on season 3 for that one. It's nowhere near as good as The Walking Dead in my opinion.

No I haven't started it yet but I have been thinking about watching it.

It's interesting because you actually get to see civilization's downfall unlike with TWD where Rick sort of wakes up to it. I'm not really invested in the characters like I am with TWD though

I love the show! But I don't like the deaths. And I'm very upset they killed Carl. If they kill either Carol or Daryl I'll be very upset.
It's so crazy how they always make the new villain worse than the previous one. I thought Negan was bad, but then Alpha comes along, Sheesh! Sorry for spoilers.

I'm fully caught up and I'm so upset the season finale has been postponed lol. Alpha was a fantastic villain! And tell me about it-what happened to Carl still makes me bawl.

And YES if they touch Carol or Darryl, I'm boycotting!

@Keira Wilson I know what you mean about end of ep.15 of season 9 now! That was crazy! And the way they revealed each one I was like Oh no no no nooo!
