Sheba Joshua | 4 comments Please check out my book on Amazon. I promise it's a pure read. I hope it meets the standard of this group, as my aim is always to read and write books upholding good moral standards.

It will be accessible on Kindle from the 26th of July, please read and air your opinion. This will mean so much to me.

Sheba, this isn't the appropriate thread for sharing about one's own books. Please check out our Introduce Yourself and Your Books" folder. That would be a great place for such a posting.

Charlene | 596 comments Hey Everyone,

I’m in a mood for a Christian fiction book/series that has family dynamics with children, babies or pregnancy. I don’t mind if it’s historical or contemporary all recommendations appreciated :)

Kellyn Roth's The Chronicles of Alice and Ivy immediately comes to mind. I've copyedited this entire series so far, and there are children and babies in many, if not all, of the books. Here's the first story:
The Dressmaker's Secret (The Chronicles of Alice and Ivy, #1) by Kellyn Roth

Bailey Gaines's story If I Knew You Were Coming in the Springtime in Surrey collection features some adorable children. (I'm a co-author of this collection.)
Springtime in Surrey by Kellyn Roth

Melissa Tagg's Walker Family series comes to mind as well.
From the Start (Walker Family, #1) by Melissa Tagg

Kim Vogel Sawyer has a couple of great ones that feature children and family dynamics.
Room for Hope by Kim Vogel Sawyer My Heart Remembers by Kim Vogel Sawyer

Any suggestions for books with a bounty hunter?

That's a category I haven't seen in a while! I know I've read one, but I don't recall what it was. I'll be curious to see what people come up with for suggestions on this.

message 160: by Jenn (new)

Jenn | 591 comments The only bounty hunter book I can think of is The Heart's Pursuit by Robin Lee Hatcher The Heart's Pursuit, but I suspect you have already read that one.

Oh, and The Bounty Hunter's Baby (Love Inspired Historical) by Erica Vetsch The Bounty Hunter's Baby.

Laura (llpeace) | 20 comments I am new to Christian books. I know a couple of the authors by name (like Colleen Coble), but don't know anything else. I typically buy books at the thrift store or used book store. How can I tell if a book is "Christian" or not? Is there a list of Christian publishers out there somewhere to help me know if I can link a book in the challenges? Any help is greatly appreciated.

An author I discovered earlier this year is Hannah Linder. I find her work very reminiscent of especially Abigail Wilson.

Yes, it is. There was one such word in her previous book, but I was hoping that would improve in the second book. Instead, it got worse. Here's hoping book three is better! (I'll be reading it after work this evening.)

Reagan Hi! I was wondering if anyone has any book recommendations for a ballet/dance themed book? I really enjoyed A Midnight Dance by Joanna Davidson Politano and was looking for something similar.

Michelle | 626 comments Until Leaves Fall in Paris by Sarah Sundin is about a ballerina who left the Paris Opera to run a bookstore in Nazis occupied Paris. I've read both books; they are similar in that both characters have a passion for ballet and both have ballet scenes.

I thought A Season to Dance A Season to Dance by Patricia Beal was a beautifully told story of grace and redemption. As a former dancer, I loved the way ballet was used to move the story forward.

Oh man yes, Until Leaves Fall in Paris by Sarah Sundin was such a great book! Five stars for sure and one of my favorite books I've read this year, even though it was outside of the box from what I usually read.

I wrote a story about a former ballerina. The Cottage on the Hill is one of eight stories set in Surrey, England in this anthology:
Springtime in Surrey by Kellyn Roth

message 199: by Hunter (new)

Hunter H. Treasures of the Lochs
Treasures of the Lochs is suspenseful Young-Adult Christian fiction, involving a modern-day treasure hunt in Scotland, with a bit of supernatural thrown in. Blending historical fact and Scottish legend within an action-packed adventure, Treasures of the Lochs is an exciting, powerful story of faith, friendship, and redemption. The target audience is teenage and above (some parts would be too intense for younger readers).

The novel crosses a few different genres, including Christian Fantasy, Magical Realism (Fantasy), and Suspense. It also hit Amazon#1 New Release for Christian Fantasy. I hope you will check it out. To learn more, please visit www.hunterwhiteauthor.com

I am looking for squeaky clean thrillers - Christian or secular (they do exist). For me, these are very hard to find. All suggestions welcome.
