Will we be discussing mainly on the original or the remake?

I went into this one completely blind. Didn't know it was the basis for a recent movie I haven't seen yet. Didn't like the look of it either. That's not to say the art was flawed at all. It really wasn't. The suits just looked kind of gundam-ish or power-rangery and both those things passed me by. This book left a similar impression on me to the movie Memento. I felt like this was such a simple idea for a narrative structure so why haven't I seen this before? You could be reading this comment and shouting the names of a hundred titles that have done exactly this before but I couldn't think of any. I did however get a strange sense of déjà vu ;)
Another good choice by the reading group. Shame nobody has anything to say about it.
