2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

The second book of The 5th Wave series.
I loved the first book so much, so so so so much and recently I asked a friend to bring me this from U.S. (in Brazil it takes months to arrive, even if i buy online).

There is a lot of buzz around this series, i know recently they started to film the movie with Chloë Grace Moretz as the main character role and i just can't wait!!!! :D

Did someone else read this series?

I liked also 5th Wave and couldn't wait to get my hands onto this sequel. I was a bit disapointed, because story wasn't exactly what I expected. Of course this seems to be more a rule than exception and sequel seems to be a filler than improvement of previous book.

I liked how realistic The 5th Wave was. I agree with you, it wasn't much action in the book, but what i heard about the second book was there is a lot of more aliens on it. A lot.

So i guess i'm alone in this 4th week. I will start the book today. I think it will be a fast reading. :)

I finished this book last night.
Well, not at all what i expected. But it blowed my mind anyways.

There is not much action, not really.
There is a lot of information and paranoia.

I enjoyed. It was good book. Not good as The 5th Wave, but good!
