Nice to see Wool here. I read it on march, plus the 2 sequels. I was not always happy with the story pace but Howey has built something impressive with Silo, so it was really interesting to discover it. I'll read Sand on week 37, its world is intriguing too.

We'll read The Road & The Night Circus the same weeks :)

Bruno Farias | 6 comments Wool is amazing but let me tell you that, when I finished it, I didn't knew there were sequels and I cursed the book and the author and everyone. You can imagine my hapiness when I found out it was a trilogy.

Ellen | 3 comments Crap, I didn't realize. Guess I may have to move some stuff around to accommodate, I'm sure I'll want to read the other two.

Yes, if you like Wool, you'll want to read Shift and Dust for sure. The 2nd explain why silos exist (it's an interesting prequel) and the 3rd is the about Wool/Shift heroes and ends the story :)
Haha poor Bruno :D I read them one after another, couldn't resist to learn the why and then!

Saara (lamiena) | 32 comments We'll be reading Carrie at the same time! Splendid. Have you read it before? I think I have, but in Finnish, aaaages ago.

Johanna | 31 comments Same trilogy! I think no body will read the same trilogy because people already read it but no! It's great ^^
And The Hobbit too, a great year ^^

Cait (clickcait) | 480 comments Wow! You're really organised. I like your list.

The Hobbit was the first thing that sprang to mind when I thought of a book turned into a film, unfortunately I just finished rereading it in December so I don't want to read it quite so soon.

Marie (marieoliveira) I've been having a hard time finding a book set in high school. We Need to Talk About Kevin sounds interesting so I'm going to join you on that. And now I also want to read Wool after reading the comments!

I've been wanting to read We Need to Talk About Kevin for a while now. I broke down and watched the movie last night and I don't think I'll ever read the book. I'm in the mental health field so I tend to like psychological movies. But it was probably the most frustrating/mentally exhausting movie I've ever seen. I have a feeling a lot was lost in the translation since only so much emotion/thought can be conveyed in a movie in comparison to a book. Maybe my bravery will increase and I'll read it down the road.
