Krista | 70 comments Additional Personal Challenge from my son 2015
In an effort to get my son to read even one book this year, I accepted a challenge from him to read one sports book this year. He and I are going to read the same sports book and discuss it throughout the year.

My Prison Without Bars: Pete Rose

Krista | 70 comments Complete Works Challenge 0/7

After having read The Jane Austen Book Club, I am joining this challenge to read/reread all of Austen. I am actually embarrassed to say that the only one that will be a reread is Pride and Prejudice. Better late than never, I guess.

Pride and Prejudice
Sense and Sensibility
Northanger Abbey
Emma
Persuasion
Mansfield Park
Lady Susan

Jodi (readinbooks) | 1971 comments I love that you are encouraging your son to read and what a fantastic idea to read the same book. I hope you both like it.

Krista | 70 comments Jodi-He is 20 and kind of beyond my control when it comes to this. But as the mom I will never stop trying. He hasn't gotten the book yet so I am still apprehensive. My fingers are crossed though. Thanks for the positive thoughts. We are going to need them.

Krista | 70 comments I have fallen behind a little bit on my own personal goals because of vacation. But I think I will be able to make up for some of it when my second job starts next week. I know that doesn't quite sound logical, but I spend a lot of time reading at the part time second job. As long as I say hello when a client walks in and answer the phone, the rest is cake.
