Perpetual Booknerds discussion

So this is going pretty quickly for me. Finished the first 5 chapters easy peasy.

Right now I'm enjoying the bond between Hollis and Delia. I like that Hollis isn't the type to just toss her 'tainted' friend aside for appearance sake but fights to keep her close.

I skipped the summary of this book on purpose wanting to go in fresh. When it started I was unsure my thoughts on the king but so far he seems like a catch. Hopefully it stays that way though that new older sun (sword maker) has me a bit concerned about a possible love triangle. We shall see soon enough.

I am really enjoying this so far. I love the friendship aspect and I hope that the girls will be there for each other until the end.

The only thing that worries me is the possibility of a love triangle, because they are my least favorite tropes. I find that they are never fair and full of double standards. But there have been a few that were written pretty well, so if we are heading in that direction I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s done good.
