So for week 3 I will be reading True Grit. I never saw the movie but heard it was good. I believe I was given this book from my grandma when I was just looking at a small bookcase in her house and she told me to take any books I wanted. It sounded good so I did.

I saw the remake that came out a few years ago. I loved it, but I had no idea it was a novel! Crazy stuff.

Oh Thanks! (I might have forgotten who the author was--didn't have the book in front of me.) I am also having a few issues figuring out this Goodreads system. I feel like sometimes it's redudant on what it has you put in. LOL! I added this book to the bookshelf too...only took me three tries!! Funny how I prefer the app version of Goodreads to this...no so much stuff for me to mess up!

Finished today. Short book but easy read and a great story! Haven't seen the movie so no comparison there but it is well written. Great characters!!
