Hello guys, lately due to the inactivity as a moderator we had to remove some of our previous moderators. We currently need only one moderator.
For that you need to answer following questions honestly:
1) Why are you willing to be the mod of this particular group?
2)Would you be active as a moderator?
3) What ideas do you have thought for the group?
4) Do you know all the working for a good reads group((ex. How to make a poll, delete comments, reply to comments, etc.)
5)What do you think would make you a good mod?

I would love to be a moderator!

1.) I am an active participant in goodreads. I will answer any questions that anyone asks, as well as work along in the group (participate in games and other stuff ;)

2.) I check goodreads once every hour, (or more) so of course!

3.) For faster readers, we could have a BOTW (Book Of The Week) and we could have a mod lead that group. Also we could add more Fun and Games discussions to get people more interested, and potentially get more people to join!

4.) I know everything from how to invite group members, setting up a discussion, and creating a poll! I have my own group (Romantic Reading) and I am moderator of YA Romance as well. I might even know too much about everythig lol.

5.) I think I will be a great moderator because I am friendly, and I will take anything thatcomes my way. I will answer people's questions, or complete a task. I can run a book group (e.g BOTM or BOTW) Most importantly.. I LOVE reading! I will read anything the group decides on :)

1) Why are you willing to be the mod of this particular group? I love this group and how personal it can be. I like how connected we can be with each other and how this group is ore than just books. Because of that, I'd to help contribute and try to make others feel at home in this group like I do.

2)Would you be active as a moderator? Yes. I check Goodreads at least once everyday, and make sure to involve myself as much as I can.

3) What ideas do you have thought for the group? I would like to try to include online book alternatives for those who don't have access to the BOTMs, and I would like to make participate in making games to get to know the members of the group. Another thing I currently do is I make playlists for each of our BOTMs that exhibit the emotions and tones of the book(s). I think that this may benefit faster readers, as after they read the book they could experience it again through music.

4) Do you know all the working for a good reads group((ex. How to make a poll, delete comments, reply to comments, etc.) Yes. I actually own and moderate another Young Adult group, so I have tons of experience in that department.

5)What do you think would make you a good mod? I'm very active, and I'm definitely a people person. I love talking to people and getting involved with the online comunity. I'll also be working at the library (after all of this is over, haha) so I'll be exposed to tons of new books.

1. I am willing to be the new moderator because I would love the opportunity to implement new ways that we can all enjoy the books we are reading. Plus with all of the rona, I have dived deep into book reading.
2. I would be on goodreads and coming up with ideas daily since my school just ended.
3. I would love to add a folder to focus on monthly book information. I would include new book releases or books that are in the works to become movies.
4. I know how to accurately use the goodreads site.
5. MY ENTHUSIASM!!!!!!!

Hey Guys, I and my co mods have decided that after we choose our new mod we will kinda make him/her sign(not literally sign) a kind of agreement where the they have promise us to be active as a mod, implement the ideas they have suggested in their answers and also do appointed work on time( a delay of a day or two is okay). 1) I am an avid reader and want to help people find their next great read. I always feel so happy when I've found a wonderful book, and so I want to help more people feel that joy. =D

2) Yup!

3) I am thinking about starting discussions about what makes a book good. We all know some books are simply better than others. But what is it that makes them special? We could analyse and discuss story plot arcs, characters, world settings etc. and more!
Also, we could start a book review discussion board 📖!

4) I know them all pretty well! I'm moderator my own group, Let's Write One-of-a-kind Stories ❤️!

5) I read a LOT of books and I love to analyse and interpret the messages the author's trying to tell us through them, and I love sharing bookish thoughts with other readers 😉!

This is a great group, and I enjoy being part of it in any small way❤️!

Hello Guys! Bea our head of music and buddy reads department has deleted her account. We don't know the reason. So we are currently in need of two moderators. It is not necessary that you are interested in the same duties.

1) Why are you willing to be the mod of this particular group? - This group is so amazing already but I think I could help make it even better.

2)Would you be active as a moderator? - Yes! I am on every day unless I have something else going on.

3) What ideas do you have thought for the group? - Different types of challenges, a 'Favorites' section where we can talk about all of our favorite and least favorite things, and just improving and adding on to the already existing things. I would also love to run the buddy reads.

4) Do you know all the working for a good reads group - I know all of them. I am a moderator of three other groups so I know how to do many different things!

5)What do you think would make you a good mod? - I think that I am a very kind person. I am good at interacting with others online, and I just love books!

6) How would you help us as a co-moderator? - Doing the tasks you want me to do. I am very helpful and can help wherever is needed.

7)What are your strategies for attracting people to this club? - Having new and unique ideas. Also, I would love to try and contact some authors for virtual appearances.

There could have a challenge for each week and month for the faster readers. For the slower readers, there could challenges that last a couple of months to a year.

5)What do you think would make you a good mod? I am very helpful and willing to do what I need to for the group. I am always active on goodreads.

6) How would you help us as a co-moderator? I would make other members feel like they belong in the group.

7)What are your strategies for attracting people to this club? I will tell all my friends about this group so they could tell others about it. Hopefully, they will join.

Extra information: I am the mod of 11 groups.

1) Why are you willing to be the mod of this particular group?
I would love to be a mod because this group is so connected, and we talk about all kinds of things, and because of that, I get to know other people well. I want other people to feel the same way.

2) Would you be active as a moderator?
Yes! I am active almost every waking moment, except on weekends.

3) What ideas do you have thought for the group?
Adding some more games, and creating some new discussions about new/coming soon books, so we can expand our reading range and find out about new books. I could also think up a few more challenge and readathon ideas.

4) Do you know all the working for a good reads group
Yes, I am a moderator for two other groups and I know how everything works.

5) What do you think would make you a good mod?
I love working with other people to make sure we have done everything to the best of our abilities. I also am a huge book nerd (like everyone else), and I love interacting with others about them. I am very social and love talking about books with others.

6) How would you help us as a co-moderator?
I could think up new ideas for the group, and I can help out whenever. I am also willing to send out messages regarding announcements and upcoming events and designing social media posts.

7) What are your strategies for attracting people to this club?
We could create some discussions and topics that no one has ever thought of before, and not just the typical topics in any other Goodreads group. I have also interviewed three other authors, and I could contact some other ones if they could make an appearance for this group. In addition, since this group has an Instagram and a Pinterest account, we could also publicize on there. I would also be happy to shoutout this group through my Bookstagram!

This was the first group that I joined on Goodreads and I really like it! This group is more interesting than any other ones I've joined. Plus it's my friend's group so I would really like to help her make this group the best. .

2)Would you be active as a moderator?(answer this one very honestly)
Yes I would. I am online most of the time.

3) What ideas do you have thought for the group?
Since there are so many groups on GR, there's little chance of coming up with new ideas because so many of them are already taken. But most groups are okay to share their ideas. I really liked one which was to set a goal of reading or finding a particular book. Ex. This month I would read a book that has a mind-reader as the protagonist or a book that has a dragon on it's cover.
Also, we can start a discussion where people can talk about their feelings and no one will judge.
We can also start another discussion where members get to freely talk about their hobbies and find people with similar interests.

4) Do you know all the working for a good reads group((ex. How to make a poll, delete comments, reply to comments, inserting images etc.)
I do know the basic things. But I'm relatively new here, so I haven't had the experience of being a mod. But I promise to work hard and learn all things.

5)What do you think would make you a good mod?
I am friendly and do have a little experience of managing things. I will help everyone as much as I can.

6) How would you help us as a co-moderator?
I can help in anyway the mods want me too, be it a very simple task or a challenging one.

7)What are your strategies for attracting people to this club?
Since we already have the Group's pinterest and Instagram accounts, we can publicize there by showing the on-goings of our group monthly or weekly. There we can drop hints of our next challenges and discussions, which will keep our audience on the edge of their seats.
Also we can take out one day, where all of us will invite as many friends as we can to our group. Later we can put up a discussion wherein we talk about our experiences of the day and our reviews.

2)Yes, I’m on goodreads all the time. Activeness is not something you’d have to worry about for me.
3)Maybe you could make a folder where people can make a section for them to write about what they have read or just write in general.
4)Yes, I do know how to do that. I use the goodreads app on my phone but I will go on the browser if I need to do something of that sort.
5)I am active very often, I have some experience, I like helping people.
6)I would help others, help make some ideas a reality, and try to give more ideas.

I forgot to add this in my application, but I have two more things I could do for the group. I am pretty good at graphic design, so I would love to make some social media posts for the group! I would also be willing to send out the messages with updates in them to the group, as well as messages regarding events and new things!

It's a lovely group with real potential and promise and I would love to offer my experience to help support the community.

2)Would you be active as a moderator?(answer this one very honestly)

I would dedicated a certain about of time to this group a week. Similar to what I do with my own groups. I am a very active member of GR and also a volunteer GR Help Ambassador, which means I have a direct link to GR.

3) What ideas you have in your mind for the group?
Helping grow engagement and looking at hosting bookish events.

I do indeed and am a Mod for 2 other groups, plus a GR Ambassador when my role is to help others get the best out of GR.

5)What do you think would make you a good mod?

I like to support and help others in the community. I have a lot of experience as a group Mod. The biggest group I was a Mod for had 10,000 members. The smallest was 100+ I feel I would make a good mod as I would care for the community and treat it like a little seed, and how the group to grow and blossom.

6) How would you help us as a co-moderator?

Share learning with other mods, ensure GR community guidelines are upheld, listen to feedback and take back issues (i.e GR features being buggy) direct to GR staff. Support other mods.

7)What are your strategies for attracting people to this club?

Create some videos and pull people across using other social media. I have my own moderators network group for cross sharing.
