OMG it's hard going lol!
Haha! I liked this one, but it does drag in the middle. Stick with it!
Not the sort of book of book I would usually read. Did make myself a promise to get a few classics read this year :)
I remember being so annoyed with Tess - is that your experience? :-) I ultimately liked - or at least appreciated - the book and even went on to read Jude the Obscure. But Hardy is definitely a Debbie Downer, lol. Good luck!
