Also - no books with magic?!?!

A book with >500 pages - If you have not yet read vikram seth "Suitable boy" ... very different, sometimes annoying but worth reading!
A classic Romance - Pride and Prejudice - You havent read this yet???? I'm totally judging you.. !
A funny book - Catch-22 - This is not a funny book at all.. rather morbid humour..
A book set in my country - Hungry Tide !!
A book with non-human characters - Watership Down - I louuuvvee this book! so cute.. but i read it back in the 6th grade.. not sure if it will still be cute.. but Mr Bigwig is awesome!!
A book set in future - A Brave New World - Aldous Huxley
50. A book that came out the year you were born - 1990 is the year. Apparently Brida by Paulo Coelho is as old as we are... !

I am sure other people will have better ideas than me!

How the hell did I miss Game of thrones. I have already started and almost finished the first book last year. I'll just pick where I left off.

More than half of books I planned for this year are >500 pages. That won't be a problem.
I have read hungry tide a couple of times now. I am thinking Raja Rao or Bachelor of Arts.A little south Indian.
I plan to re-read a lot of books this year. I am about to finish 1984 and am following up with Brave New World For some reason, I always wanted to do that.
You didn't like Catch-22 It's one of my re-reads. I love it because of all the morbidness.
