*Hyperventilates* What? Wow, when I read The Host I was thinking to myself "This would make a great movie." and now it is. Yay, this is going to be amazing. I wonder who they will pick for Ian. :)

Breath Melzz :)
I liked The Host, even though I wanted to take a scalpel and cut out the epilogue. The action sequences are going to be great visuals. :D

Loved the HOST (Not as much as the Saga but still)

Melanie/Wanda was pretty vivid for me, I don't know if I can pick an actress for her.
My friend told me that she got bored with it so I never read it.

The first hundred pages could have been condensed more, but patience is a virtue. It payed off eventually. The writing is a lot more progressed than Twilight, and even my friend who hates Twilight, enjoys The Host.

Lol, so basically some point in the far away future.
haha, yup, considering my book report book needs to be finished very soon.

Yes, because technically Wanda and Melanie are supposed to have the same voice, so how would that work?

They should pick Taylor Lautner(Jacob from Twilight). He is HOT!!!!!

I don't know, wouldn't that be a bit like type-casting? He wouldn't want to be designated as the Stephenie Meyer boy.

The Host characters are all older characters (well, at least older in appearance anyway.) They all need to be in their mid 20's - early 30's with Jaime and Pet who are in their late teens.
Ian and Kyle O'Shea have blue eyes, black hair and their family appearance is supposed to be very apparent.
Jared has Sandy blonde hair.
Melanie is late teens when she first meets Jared but early 20's when the story starts. She has dark brown hair and eyes. Jaime has the same family traits except he's in his early teens.
Pet/Wanda is late teens, stawberry blonde hair, and silver gray eyes. She looks very innocent and everyone wanted to instinctively protect her. Jaime picked her because he thought she looked like an angel.

I am not trying to attack you personally or anything Ammie but when a book describes someone with one description and people completely ignore that physical description it irks me. What if they cast Bella as a curvy blonde? It would be totally wrong because that's Rose's description!

Not quite yet, there still working out the script and stuff.
Cool I guess I need to read the book if they're making a movie
