Julia (mizzelle) | 49 comments First task #13 - Romance. I finished Tessa Dare's Romancing the Duke, the first of her "Castles Ever After" series. Lots of fun. Both characters were broken in different ways and it was interesting seeing how they learned from another.

Anissa | 14 comments My first task completed: #11 YA. Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. I read it aloud to my 11 year old. We both liked it. A good adventure story.

Miss Jones | 26 comments I just completed task 19: a book originally published in another language. The book I read was "The Museum of Innocence" by Orhan Pamuk. Translated from Turkish this story is about a man in love has an affair with his distant cousin while engaged to another woman. Without giving away too much information, eventually he breaks off his engagement and waits eight long years for his distant cousin all the while "collecting" objects from her everyday life. Its really a story of love, patience, and a child-like optimism and while its easy to pity the hero in this story, I also felt this great level of admiration for him.

Miss Jones | 26 comments Keeks wrote "just finished the audiobook "The Old Man and the Sea" beautiful description but my mind still wandered; may have to read this in print form"

Keeks please don't waste your time reading this book in print form. This book is incredibly boring and long-winded.
