I'm sticking with my 50 again. I've got a new job and don't know how it will impact my free time.
02/18/15 -- UPDATE --
I'm changing my goal to 100 for this year since I finished a box set of 45 books by Sarah Price. Next year I'll be back to my 50!
04/13/15 -- New Update --
This is making me nuts and I can't seem to get past it! I can't find all 45 individual stories from the boxed set here, so I'm doing the separate boxed sets/collections. That changes the 45 to 9 (some of the stories didn't seem to show up anywhere in collections). My readjusted 2015 goal is... 60!

I need a bit of advise...
I just finished a boxed set of 45 "books" by Sarah Price. Is it 1 "book" toward my challenge? Is it 45 "books" or does each series count as a "book"?

How was the collection? I bought it a while ago and I haven't read it yet.

Thanks for your thoughts Diane. Looks like I'll be changing my reading challenge to reflect the boxed set. I don't want to be almost done in February!
As for the collection... it had distractions. As in typos, incorrect names, and little things. The stories overall where good. It might be awhile before I pick up more of Sarah's things; just because I had such a big dose at one time.

Good for you Janie -- only 37 more to go! What do you call "different"?

Travel, and paranormal are two genre that I have started reading.I like reading some stories about the Afterlife,as long as they are not too heavy on the subject. I was reading mostly Amish,at first, but I started exploring other reads with authors,I had never heard of, and my interests have expanded. Reading updates on the book reviews that some of Goodread's members post, also helps to explore other kinds of genre, and I thanks you all for that!
@ Janie R... I enjoyed reading the Elm Creek Quilt series by Jennifer Chiaverini. Have you read any of them?

I was going to say that your review on the book-Echoes of Paradise-influenced me into reading it,and it was a good read, thanks!

Besides the 2015 Ultimate Reading Challenge that I mentioned in messages 5 and 9, I've been participating in various other kinds of challenges (ebook; eaudio; to-be-read, which I used for my owned books, etc.). Some boards have states and world challenges, but they are usually for a year. I created trackers so that I can do the states challenge over a five-year span and the world challenge over a ten-year span. I set up trackers here: https://www.goodreads.com/challenges/... and https://www.goodreads.com/challenges/.... I wanted to do the world one because most books I read are set in the U.S. or England, and I thought it would encourage me to get some variety in setting and maybe learn some things about other countries.
