Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
1. I have heard about this book for awhile and I wish I had read it sooner. It paints such a lovely and vivid picture of Savannah, Georgia. The characters are intriguing and I couldn't put the book down. The story was very captivating. A wealthy, single man involved with a murder. I enjoyed the class of it all: the parties, debutante gatherings and all the cocktails you can drink. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone interested in southern Gothic storytelling.

A Moveable Feast
2. The last time I read this book I was in high school. I decided to read it again since my twenties are almost over. This book is one of the most heartfelt books I have ever read. Ernest Hemingway describes such a beautiful Paris. The book is tinged with regret and some sadness. Regret for the dissolution of his first marriage and sadness for all the friends he lost. For anyone interested in Paris and Ernest Hemingway this book is worth a read.

Hollywood Babylon
3. This book was so very interesting. Sure it's basically a really long gossip magazine but it's still fun. This book might not be for the faint of heart as it has authentic crime scene photos that are graphic at times. This book is filled with stories about old Hollywood stars such as: Clara Bow, Thelma Todd, Marion Davies and Frances Farmer. Not all of these are true stories, although it's fun to read about old Hollywood. I really enjoyed it despite it's trashy nature.
