Righto, my dears! I'm working on a character right now (It'll be a little while because this history is turning out to be a pretty hefty little novella...), and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in pursuing a very difficult romance with her! I'll give some details below...
She is a sun elf and her name is Aletheia Amatheldir. Her mother was once a very esteemed noble heiress whose family was killed in a political scheme and she fled the capital and became a refugee settling into normal life. Aletheia was born and grew up super poor, but happy at first until her parents were killed in a petty mugging. She became a petty criminal until she tried to rob a sun elf noble who turned out to be the crown prince. She was sort of forced to help him out, but became a permanent member of his little travelling group and they grew really close. She became a member of his royal guard and they fell in love during that time. During tasks he carried out as prince and as an adventurer (something he demanded his father let him be), she actually grew to have a reputation far grander than his and was known as the Golden Archer, a bow master who never missed a shot. The man who screwed over her mother back in the day was actually the prince's uncle and he recognizes her resemblance to Aestra and starts to threaten her and Aletheia suddenly realizes that stories her mother used to tell her were about this guy and now she's really on her toes. The prince says he'll marry her and his father is livid because as far as he knows, she is no one and the uncle is whispering in his ear that she isn't to be trusted. Political stuff happens, a plan to kill her ends up with the prince dead and she escapes but is framed for his death. Sad stuff, yada yada, she ends up using her skills as a mercenary, but ends up with a following and creates mercenary army and runs them like a town until they are hired by a kingdom to fight for them. She's growing weary of that life, but won't show it. She feels like there is no love left in the world for her and misses her prince, but he's now long dead.
This will not be easy for the character that chooses to pursue her! They'll have to earn her respect, they'll have to understand the burden of responsibility she carries, they'll have to get her to open up, she'll probably shut them out once she tells them the full story about her life and they'll have to stick around until she's ready to actually open back up again and accept that she'll always love her lost prince AND THEN an actual relationship can happen. She isn't always the sappy sort, but towards the end they'll get to experience how truly compassionate and pure she can be!

How old is she?

Aletheia, due to her elven immortality, would physically be somewhere within her late twenties or early thirties at most. She has been alive for much much much longer, having been a famed hero for well over century now.

Why kinda people does she hate?

Well, there's the obvious answer of the Val'Arathen aristocracy (Sun Elf aristocracy), they ruined her life and her mother's life. She also has a tough time with people who can't take things seriously considering lives are often at stake in her line of work. She prefers people who are straightforward and forthcoming and doesn't stand for the scheming and deception that was common in Val'Arathen.
